Mid-Week Report (Florida State)

The offensive line took a blow against Wake Forest when  tackle Matt Meinrod broke his left fibula. The offensive line has done so much better this season protecting quarterbacks Drew Weatherford and Xavier Lee compared with last season. Weatherford has progressed nicely this season as he took over the reins of the offense. Last week against Wake Forest he threw for 351 yards and three touchdowns. Depth on the offensive line will be tested this week when the Seminoles take on Virginia. If the line can hold together and give Weatherford time then FSU will be all right. But if Weatherford has to scramble a little bit and Virginia is able to exploit holes in FSU's offensive line, then it might be a struggle.
